Come join us…whether you’re a participant or spectator, youth or adult, local or visiting, we have a place for you. Be a part of the experience. Next steps:

  • Staff will contact you prior to the tournament to discuss volunteer opportunities and your potential schedule.

Below are some of the various volunteer positions available during the Midwest Classic:

Planning Committees

There are 10 planning committees this year that handle the work that goes into making this tournament work.  Those committees are Marketing & Outreach, Entertainment, Field Marshals, Registration & Sign-in, Game Scheduling, Grounds & Traffic, Merchandise & Awards, Sponsors & Hospitality Bags, Volunteers, and Communications.

On the actual days of the tournament, there is a need for volunteers to assist with executing the plans the planning committees have come up with.

Field Marshals

Field Marshals are the lifeblood of the tournament! As a field marshal, you're stationed at the fields in the middle of the action and you get to watch the games (2-4 at a time). You help games get started on time, check in teams before each game, answer questions from curious parents and players, communicate final scores of games, make tournament headquarters aware of any problems on the field, summon medical personnel if needed, and assist the referees stationed at your fields. If you like meeting new people and watching soccer, this is the place for you.
